Snorkeling with turtles & cenote

On this half-day trip, you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning by your German-speaking guide and will first go to Akumal Bay to snorkel with the famous water turtles.

A lush field of sea grass in the shallow bay of Akumal and their hunger keeps the friendly animals returning daily to eat. A turtle sighting is almost always guaranteed! If you don't have any luck, you can try your luck again on another day, free of charge.
Our professional tour guides will ensure that you feel safe and have a fascinating experience. Even if you are not an experienced snorkeler or cannot swim very well, the guide will adapt to your skills and help you have an unforgettable experience with the turtles that will leave you feeling completely safe.
Of course, all snorkeling equipment will be provided to you. It is carefully washed and disinfected every time after use.

This is followed by a visit to a beautiful cenote, a stalactite cave partially flooded with water, which was considered sacred access to the underworld in Mayan times.
You will first travel by minibus deep into the Mexican jungle to the entrance to the cenote. After some explanations about the creation of this surreal place, you descend a staircase into the interior, where you have enough time to admire the ancient formations of stalactites and stalagmites, swim or enjoy the sun's rays filtered through the small openings in the limestone ceiling to be enchanted before you are safely brought back to the hotel.
